Iron Ore Freighter
September 13th, 2009This “Iron Ore Freighter” was photographed in dock on Lake Superior in Marquette, Michigan – now available in my Flying Disc #1 gallery at Zazzle. Weather conditions on this largest on the Great Lakes make shipping a dangerous business. Here, a freighter is loaded with iron-ore transported by railroad atop the dock, funneled through a giant shoot into cargo holding chambers.
